Napa Ride, November 14, 2026
Board a bus from San Francisco and roll into Napa for a day of vineyard roads, good wine, and new cycling friends. Choose a 21-mile spin or a 46-mile push over Mount Veeder. Either route includes a coffee stop, picnic lunch and wine tasting at Monticello Vineyard.

Schedule
Friday, 7am–6pm: riding your own bike? Drop it at 1227 Willard Street and we'll get it to Napa. Renting? Skip this one — your bike will be waiting for you at Monticello Saturday morning.
Saturday, 7:30am: board the bus at Stanyan x Haight.
Saturday, 9am: arrive at Monticello Vineyard. Load up on water, electrolytes, snacks, and sunscreen, meet your guides, and get the lay of the land before rolling out.
Saturday, 11am: coffee stop at Oakville Grocer, mile 10.
Saturday, 12pm: short-route riders roll back into Monticello for a picnic lunch and wine tasting, then lawn games or a wander through nearby vineyards for the rest of the afternoon.
Saturday, 2:30pm: long-route riders make it back from Mount Veeder to a later picnic lunch and wine tasting.
Saturday, 4pm: bus rolls back to San Francisco.
Sunday, 8am–12pm: swing by 1227 Willard and reunite with your bike.

Road bike rental: $75, includes pedals and a helmet. Pick your size at checkout. No need to drop anything off Friday — your rental will be ready and waiting for you at Monticello Saturday morning.

Cycling clothes and shoes, layers for the morning fog, your phone, and an ID (there's a wine tasting). No cash needed: food, drinks, and the tasting are covered. Renting a bike? It comes with pedals and a helmet, so skip those.

Snacks, water, electrolytes, and sunscreen are waiting for you at Monticello before you head out. Everyone stops at Oakville Grocer for coffee around mile 10. Come back to a picnic lunch and a wine tasting: the payoff for the climb.

Open the event link. No Ride with GPS account yet? Create a free one. It takes a minute. Click "+ Join Event," sign the waiver, and add your emergency contact info. When you're ready to ride, pick your route and hit "Save" to download it for offline use, then tap "Navigate" for turn-by-turn directions. We'll walk through this again at the start of the ride, so nobody's stuck figuring it out alone.
